Fever Chills Cardiac murmur Night sweats Fatigue SOB

What are the common causative organisms?
A
Viridans streptococci
Staph aureus
Enterococci

A
Blood cultures
Echo
ECG
FBC, CRP, U+Es, LFTs

What is the management?
A
A-E
Start broad spectrum Abx
Once cultures back, speak to micro and start sensitive abx

What are the complications?
A
Acute heart failure
Stroke
AKI
