how to decide on changes to thyroxine dose according to TSH?
A
- in primary hypothyroidism the thyroid doesn’t make enough T4 so the pituitary produced more TSH. giving thyroxine should reduce the TSH range
<0.5 TSH -> decrease dose
0.5-5 keep the same dose
> 5 increase dose
