Increase costs, that lead to increased prices meaning a possible fall in sales and reduced income for the firm.

Recruitment procedures must not discriminate against anyone because of, for example, their religion, gender, race, age, sexual orientation or because of disabilities.

All employees must be paid the same if they do the same job for the same employer.
What happens if companies do discriminate against people?
They have to pay the employee compensation.

Staff training, company policies about equal rights.

The company is held responsible.

Helps to make sure that risks to people at work are properly controlled.
