Businesses need to keep up with this changing trend - they need to make sure they can meet the changing expectations of customers and adapt to changing competition within the market.
What is the difference between e-commerce and m-commerce?
M-commerce is pretty much the same as e-commerce, but the fact that they can do this in a wider range of locations and situation is making m-commerce more and more popular.
How does e-commerce work?
Firms put details of their products on their websites. customers may be directed straight to the product they want if they follow a link placed elsewhere, e.g. in an advert. They can use the website to browse through a product range or use a search box to find the products they want. Products are ordered online and are usually paid for using a credit or debit card or with paypal. The products are then delivered to the customer.
