  • if someone is trying to provoke me then i will lose my temper meaning i will get sent of, this impact my team in a negative way because they don’t have a full team which means their standards have dropped drastically

  • negative impact
  • if you bring your nervous/panicked feeling onto the court it can have a negative outcome onto your performance
  • if you are shaking and getting distracted it can lead to a poor skill being made this means that the opposite team will gain possession of the ball

A

I want to improve my confidence when taking basketball shots by the end of my PDP
specific - clear and relates to the factor that needs improved. it ensures that i have a focus instead of training with a general goal this will make me feel more motivated and wanting to try harder in each lesson leading to me achieving my goal

A

i want to have used 5 positive self talks by the end of the lesson.
adjustable - can easily be adapted or adjusted if its too easy or too hard.
it can make it suitable and achievable for all levels making you feel more motivated if its hard and more motivated to achieve more if you have completed it

only takes a short amount of time so it can be done easily before or during performance
