what is emotion?

Emotion is a feeling you have inside yourself that comes from something happening either within or outside of yourself.

  1. physiological.
  2. Cognitive, feeling

explain each of the four components of emotion.

A
  1. Physiological part of changes in bodily arousal. I.e: heart rate, temperature, and breathing.
  2. Cognitive, feeling is subjective appraisal. We interpret the stimuli.
  3. Physical, behavioural is the expression of the motion, verbally and nonverbally. For example, smiling, frowning, whining, laughing.
    Body expressions- we read other pol’s body language.
  4. emotional, behavioral- keeping the emotion present (happiness) or removing it (sadness)
