Indications of engine fire
- LH/RH ENG FIRE PUSH annunciator
- Engine Fire Bell
- Visual indications (smoke/flames)
- Engine instrument (high ITT, fluctuating or high fuel flow)
- Notifications from exterior sources

Pilot’s decision to takeoff or abort should be based on:
Takeoff:
• An emergency is experienced at or after S1 speed
Abort:
• The acceleration check fails
• Any system emergency affecting safety of flight is experienced prior to S1 speed

3X Battery Feeder Failure Scenarios
- Light with no annunciators
- Light + [EMER BUS FDR FAIL]
- Light + [EMER BUS FDR FAIL] + [BATT CUT OFF]

Annunciator:
Battery Feeder Fail Light
Bottom Line:
• Battery Feeder protection circuit has lost power
Actions:
• Check the FDR PROT circuit breaker
- If not popped or if popped and won’t reset:
– BATTERY SWITCH - OFF
– Land as soon as practical
- If it resets and the light goes out you’re good to go

Battery Feeder Fail Light

Bottom Line:
• Battery Feeder protection circuit has lost power
• Emergency Bus powered by LH Load Bus
Actions
• Check the EMER BUS FDR circuit breaker
-If circuit breaker is tripped and will not reset, the Emergency Bus will die with the LH Load bus

Annunciators: Battery Feeder Fail Light \+ [EMER BUS FDR FAIL] \+ [BATT CUT OFF]
Bottom Line: • The battery is completely isolated - Battery Feeder protection circuit has lost power - Emergency Bus powered by LH Load Bus - Battery Relay is open
Actions • If the battery is essential for flight: -BATTERY SWITCH - OFF then ON --If that doesn't fix it: BATTERY SWITCH - OFF Land as soon as practical
