  2. Brakes - AS REQUIRED

If the A/C cannot be stopped on the runway:

  1. Fuel Tank Selector - OFF
  2. Fuel Pumps - OFF

ENGINE FAILURE AFTER ROTATION

A

If altitude is not sufficient to select a runway or field LAND STRAIGHT AHEAD TURNING ONLY TO AVOID OBSTRUCTIONS

  1. Airspeed - 90-105 kts
  2. Condition Lever - Cut OFF/FEATHER
  3. Landing Gear - As Required
  4. Flaps - As Required

When Time Permits

  1. Fuel Tank Selector-OFF
  2. Fuel Pumps-OFF

ENGINE FAILURE IN FLIGHT-POWER LOSS

A
  1. Airspeed-90- 105 KIAS
  2. Power Lever-FLIGHT IDLE(FI)
  3. Condition Lever CUT OFF/FEATHER
  4. Landing Gear-UP
  5. Flaps- UP

IF REJECTED TAKE-OFF (ABORT) BEFORE ROTATION (Vr)

  1. Power Lever-REDUCE
  2. Power Lever-BETA/REVERSE (REV) AS REQUIRED
  3. Brakes-AS REQUIRED

If the aircraft cannot be stopped on the remaining runway:

  1. Condition Lever-CUT OFF/FEATHER
  2. Fuel Tank Selector-OFF
  3. Fuel Pumps-OFF

After the aircraft has come to a stop:

  1. Evacuate - AS REQUIRED

  2. COMP AIR Intake - As Req
  3. Power Lever - Flight Idle
  4. OXYGEN - As Req

  6. Airspeed - Reduce < 180 KIAS
  7. Gear - Down
  8. Flaps - UP
  9. Airspeed - Keep < 180 Kias

ABANDON AIRCRAFT BY PARACHUTE

  1. Condition Lever - CUT-OFF/FEATHER
  2. Fuel Tank Selector - OFF
  3. Fuel Pumps - OFF
  4. Red Locking Lever - Pull & Discard
  5. Canopy Handle - Pully Fully AFT
  6. Canopy - Push Back and Up
  7. Seatbelts - Open
  8. Cockpit Abandon
  9. Parachute - Acuate when clear of A/C

SPIN RECOVERY

A
  1. Identify Direction of Spin - Visual / Turn Ind
  2. Power Level - Flight Idle (FI)
  3. Rudder - Fully Against Spin Direction until Spin Stops
  4. Aileron - In Spin Direction
  5. Elevator - Push Forward Until Rotation Stops

AFTER ROTATION STOPS

  1. Controls - Neutral
  2. Recover From Dive!
