5. Primer in and locked

Cabin fire in flight.

1. Master off
2. All switches, except ignition, off
3. Vents, air and heat all closed
4. Extinguish
5. Initiate emergency descent

Question 4

Forced landing.

Answer 4

1. Airspeed 60 knots
2. Mixture to idle cutoff
3. Fuel shutoff off
4. If time permits:
   • Emergency call
   • Brief passengers
   • Stow loose articles
5. Flaps 30°
6. Master off
7. Doors unlatched
8. Touchdown tail low
9. Apply heavy brakes

Wing fire.

1. Navigation light off
2. Strobe light off
3. Pitot heat off
4. Initiate emergency descent
