- Extinguish
- Initiate emergency descent

- Mixture to idle cutoff

- If time permits:
• Emergency call
• Brief passengers
• Stow loose articles - Flaps 30°
- Master off
- Doors unlatched
- Touchdown tail low
- Apply heavy brakes

- Strobe light off
- Pitot heat off
- Initiate emergency descent

- Continue cranking:
a. If engine starts:
