summarise the stages of the ovarien cycle
A
- follicals develop as FHS increases
- FSH levels decrease and one or two follicals develop
- follicles release oestrogen and causes uterus lining to thicken
- LH and FSH levels increase. LH stimulates ovulation
- ruptired follicle releases progesterone which causes the lining to thicken and be maintained
- loss of progesterone initiates a new cycle
