A

Either Pilot: “Malfunction”

PF: “Set Max Power, What’s the Problem?”
PM: (Sets Max Power- Props full forward, torque 2230 ft/lbs)
“Power Set, (L/R) Engine Failure/Fire”
PF: “Confirm Gear and Flaps are Up”
PM: (Verifies Gear, Flaps Up)
“Gear and Flaps are UP, Indicating”

PF: (AP/YD Disconnect, maintain positive control and coordination)
“Secure the (L/R) Engine”
PM: (Places finger on appropriate cond. lever)
“(L/R) Condition Lever, Confirm”
PF: “Fuel Cutoff”
PM: “Fuel Cutoff”
(Places finger on appropriate prop lever)
“(L/R) Prop Lever, Confirm?”
PF: “Feather”
PM: “Feather”

LS: (Places Finger on appropriate Firewall Shutoff Valve)
“(L/R) Firewall Valve, Confirm?”
RS: “Close”
LS: “Closed”

If Fire Bottles are Installed:
PM: (Places finger on extinguisher button cover only)
“(L/R) Fire Extinguisher, Confirm?”
PF: “Actuate” or “Not Required”
PM: (Lifts cover, breaking witness wire and presses discharge button fully)
“Actuate”
“Discharged, Memory Items Complete”

Engine Fire on Ground

A

Bring Aircraft to immediate Stop
Left Seat become PF

LS: Condition Lever - Cutoff
Firewall Shutoff Valve - Close
Ignition and Engine Start - Starter Only

If fire warning persists
Fire Extinguisher - Activate

If necessary, Evacuate

Standby Battery Power - Off

Evacuation Order - Initiate

 Right Seat: (Grab flight deck fire extinguisher and proceed to cabin to assist)

A

Either Pilot: “Reject”

PF:
Power Levers - Ground Fine
Directional Control - Maintain
Operative Engine - Reverse as Required
Brakes - As required to achieve stopping distance
PM: Notifies ATC/Traffic
