Management of cardiac arrest (3 options)
A
- DC shock 150J biphasic
- adrenaline 1 mg IV (10ml in 10, 000)
- amiodarone 300 mg IV (if shockable rhythm)

A
- Adrenaline 0.5 mg IM (0.5 ml in 1000)
- Hydrocortisone 200 mg IV
- Chlorpheniramine 10mg iV

Seizure management (2 options)
A
- Lorazepam 4 mg IV
- Diazepam 10 mg PR (if no IV access)

Hypoglycaemia management (3 options)
A
- 10% glucose 150ml IV or 20% glucose 75ml IV
- glucagon 1mg IM (if no IV access)

Management of hyperkalaemia
A
- 10% calcium gluconate 10 ml IV (over 5 min)
THEN
- 10% glucose 250ml IV & 10 units Actrapid Insulin (over 30 mins)

Bradycardia management
A
Atropine 500 mcg IV (repeat every 3-5 mins to max 3mg)

Supraventricular tachycardia management
A
adenosine 6mg IV (followed by 12 mg and then another 12 mg if not successful)

VT management
A
amiodarone 300mg IV over 20-60 mins

Rapid tranqualisation of agitated patient (who is at risk to self/others)
A
Lorazepam 1-2 mg PO/IM
or
Haloperidol 2-5mg PO/IM

Where is Haloperidol contraindicated?
A
- Lewy body dementia
- Parkinson’s disease
- alcohol withdrawal
