if insufficient runway remains: maintain safe airspeed, shallow turns, flaps as needed
if sufficient altitude has been gained:
maintain safe airspeed
fuel selector … SWITCH to tank containing fuel
fuel pump … CHECK ON
mixture … CHECK RICH
primer … CHECK LOCKED
if power is not regained, proceed with power off landing

if both latches are open, door will be slightly open and airspeeds slightly reduced
to close door in flight:
airspeed 89 KTS
cabin vents … CLOSE
storm window … OPEN
if upper latch is open … LATCH
if side latch is open … pull arm rest while latching door handle
if both latches are open … latch side first, then top latch
