  3. Disengage Autopilot
  4. Extend spoilers
  5. Landing gear DOWN below Mmo or VLe
  6. Descend at Mmo or VLe as appropriate NOT BELOW MSA
  7. PASS OXY VALVE -NORM
  8. PASS MASK VALVE - MAN

Pitch Axis Malfunction

A
  1. Control wheel master switch (MSW) - Press & hold
  2. Control attitude:
    If nose high, roll into bank and bring nose through horizon. If nose low, level wings and pull up.
  3. Thrust levers as req.
  4. STALL WARNING switches OFF
  5. PITCH TRIM switch (pedestal) OFF
  6. Autopilot OFF

Engine Fire SHUTDOWN

A
  1. Thrust lever IDLE
  2. If fire continues for more than 15 sec or there are other indications of fire:
    Thrust lever CUTOFF
    FIRE PULL t-handle - Pull
    ARMED light - depress one
  3. If fire continues depress remaining ARMED light

  1. Control wheel master switch (MSW) - press
    Yaw damper and A/P will disengage
  2. Attitude control as req to maintain aircraft control

  1. Reduce airspeed to minimize force
  2. ROLL TRIM or YAW TRIM cb (pilots ess. bus) - pull affected axis

Emergency Evacuation

A
  1. Stop aircraft
  2. PARKING BRAKE set
  3. Thrust levers CUTOFF
  4. If engine fire suspected:
    PULL Affected engine FIRE PULL t-handle
    PRESS Either ARMED light
    PULL other engine FIRE PULL t-handle

If engine fire is NOT expected:
PULL both ENGINE FIRE t-handles

  1. Both battery switches off
