h.Lift FIRE/ARM guard and press illuminated pushbutton.
i.Select FIRE EXTING switch to BTL 1.

select frequencies on MCDU because later it takes more time on PFD. and COM 1 will be hard wired to L/H pilot station COM 2 to R/H side.

confirm turning of correct switch and not by accident MASTER. -> will turn all screens off. danger in IMC.

A

AP 1 off. Indication on panel are off too!!!! But AP 2 still functioning.
DO NOT push AP 1&2 buttons AP PANEL
this will turn last functioning AP OFF!!

A

where am I? how much more time do I have?

e.g. on final or close to it, keep all stuff on, no shedding needed.

how to get the last 228kg of fuel if 1 boost pump fail?

A

turn other still working boost pump off and cross feed open. this will balance fuel tank levels

Caution with MGB CHIP or MGB CHIP SUMP with MGB OIL PRESS?

A

Do NOT USE Chip burner!

this could ignite air-oil-mix in MGB!
