• Fuel pumps on
• Ignitors on
• sweep PCL if nothing reduce to idle
• if fuel flow is constant but low move MOR forward and call it out
• if Ng falls below 50% starter on and call out
• call for checklist

Question 2

Engine failure below 1000 ft

Answer 2

• Sweep PCL if nothing call out PCL idle.
• Call out “condition lever idle”. Place hand. They confirm. Then move Condition lever and call “cutoff”
• below 130 knts “Flaps 40”. Hold vref.
• nonessential override switch.
• “gear down” Place gr down.
• “Fuel shutoff” Place hand. “Fuel confirmed”. Then move and say “shut off”.
• If time do checklist.
• After touchdown, “master switch off”. Don’t touch. “Master switch confirmed”. Turn off call out “off”.

Question 3

Engine failure above 1000 ft return to runway.

Answer 3

-best glide and bank towards runway.
“Flaps 15” Set flaps. No slower than donut.
- scan EIS for problem
- “Fuel pumps on”
- “ignitors on”
- sweep PCL then idle if no response.
- Move MOR forward until engine stabilizes. Call out “MOR forward”
- If Ng falls below 50% starter in and call out “starter on”.
- if no response to MOR call out “Condition lever off”. Place hand.
- PM “condition lever confirmed “
- then PF moves lever and “cutoff”
- when runway is made set nonessential switch to override and call out “nonessential overide”
-PF will place gr down.

Question 4

Engine failure in flight.

Answer 4

• PF AP off , call it out.
• PF sweep PCL if no response idle, call out “PCL idle”
• PF Call’s “condition lever idle” without moving
• PM verify they are touching PCL “condition lever confirmed”
• PF moves PCL “cutoff”
• PF Call’s for checklist

Question 5

Engine fire on ground

Answer 5

• PF reduces PCL to idle and calls out “PCL idle”
• PF will call out “condition lever cutoff” place hand on lever don’t move.
• PM will verify “condition lever confirmed “
• PF will move condition lever call “cutoff”
• PF will call “ECS cutoff” and places hand
• PM calls “fuel confirmed”
• PF pulls lever call “shutoff”
• PF Calls “master switch off” places hand
• PM “master power confirmed”
• PF raises guard and shuts off master, calls “off”
• PF Call’s for checklist

Question 6

Engine fire in flight

Answer 6

• PF reduces PCL to min acceptable, calls “PCL reduced”
• PF Calls “ECS shutoff” places hand.
• Fuel shutoff
• Don oxygen mask
• PM instructs pax to don mask
• PF will call for checklist

Question 7

Smoke/fire in cabin

Answer 7

• Don masks
• PM instructs pax to don mask
• PF will initiate emergency descent below 10,000 or MSA.
• PF will call for checklist.

Question 8

Rapid depressurization

Answer 8

• Don mask
• instruct pax to don mask
• initiate emergency descent To 10,000 MSL or MSA
• PF will call for checklist

Question 9

Emergency descent

Answer 9

• disengage AP “Autopilot off”
• PF reduces PCL to idle “PCL idle”
• endure below 177 call “gear down”
• pitch aircraft to maintain Mmo or Vne or 170 if structural failure is suspected.
• PF call for checklist.
