Raise Collective to Land

Autorotate min 58 mph
Flight with low power might be possible
Stuck Pedals In flight - left nose
anticipate rolling off throttle on landing to keep straight
raise collective, nose swing right
lower collective, nose swing left
Stuck Pedals In flight - right nose
Autorotate
Stuck Pedals in the hover
right reduce throttle & raise collective to land
left lift collective to stop rotation & use cyclic to spill the lift
Engine Fire on Start
Continue to motor the starter
Throttle OFF
Fuel Valve OFF
Ignition CB OUT
Engine Fire in Flight
Throttle Close Autorotate Fuel Valve OFF Generator OFF Battery OFF
Cockpit FIre
Heater OFF Vent the Cabin Calm the passengers Mayday Land Immediately
Hydraulic Failure
Slow down to 70-80 mph Check Hydraulic Switch On Pull Hydraulic Boost C.B Out (If not restored) Hydraulic Boost C.B. In Hydraulic Boost Switch Off Land as soon as practical Run on landing 12-17 mph
Generator Failure
Check Load Meter Check Gen Field/Gen Reset CB’s Reset Generator then On (If Not Restored) Generator Switch Off Electronics Off except as needed Descend below 6000’ Land as soon as practical
Start Abort
TOT 810°-927°<10 or 927°/1 sec
Throttle Closed
Motor the Starter
Monitor TOT
Engine Oil Pressures
Below Min or Above Max
Fluctuation
Below Min or Above Max Land Immediately
