Rejected Takeoff (Not Engine Related)
- PCL - Idle
- Reverse - As Required
- Braking - As Required
* *If you cannot stop on remaining runway:** - PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cut-off/Feather
- FUEL EMERG SHUT OFF - Press latch down, pull lever up
- MASTER POWER Switch - Emergency Off
- Aircraft - Evacuate
Partial Power Loss in Flight
- PCL - Idle
- Manual Override Lever - Pull upwards and move slowly forward, until engine responds, wait and let engine stabilize.
If engine compressor stalls and/or ITT exceeded:
- Manual override lever - Retard and move very slowly forward.
IF engine falls below 50% Ng or accelerates very slowly, with ITT at limit (870°C / 20 seconds) or compressor stall:
- Starter switch - Push for 2 seconds
- Manual override lever - Move forward to required power (Ng > 80%)
- Land as soon as practical
- Manual override lever - Maintain at least 75% Ng
After touch down:
- Condition lever - Cut-off / feather
Engine Failure Before Rotation
- PCL - Idle
- Braking - As required
* *IF runway overrun or collision likely:** - Condition Lever - Cut-off/Feather
- FUEL EMERG SHUT OFF - Press latch down, pull lever up
- MASTER POWER Switch - Emergency Off
- Aircraft - Evacuate
Engine Failure After Rotation - Landing Gear Down
A. If TOTAL Power Loss:
If insufficient altitude for a runway or field
- Land straight ahead, turning only to avoid obstructions
- Flaps - 40 degrees
- Final Approach Speed - 84 KIAS
- PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cut-off/Feather
- FUEL EMERG SHUT OFF - Press latch down, pull lever up
* *AFTER Touchdown:** - MASTER POWER Switch - Emergency Off
**AFTER the Aircraft has Stopped **
- Aircraft - EVACUATE
Engine Failure After Rotation, Landing Gear Up
A. If Total Power Loss:
- Landing Gear - Down
- N ESNTL Bus Switch - Override (restore Hyd Ctrl)
- Flaps - 40 degrees
- Final Approach Speed -
98 KIAS - Flaps 15
84 KIAS - Flaps 40
- PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cut-off/Feather
- FUEL EMERG SHUT OFF - Press latch down, pull lever up
* *AFTER Touchdown**: - MASTER POWER Switch - Emergency Off
Engine Failure In Flight - Total Power Loss
- PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cut-off/Feather
- Fuel - Check
- Airstart (next page)
- If above 13,500’ - Emergency Descent
* If Airstart is not successful* - Forced Landing
Engine Fire - On Ground
- PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cut-off/Feather
- ECS EMER SHUT OFF - Pull
- FUEL EMERG SHUT OFF - Press latch down, pull lever up
- Radio - Emergency Call
- MASTER POWER Switch - Emergency Off
- Parking Brake - OFF (IF possible)
- Aircraft - Evacuate
- Fire - Extinguish
Engine Fire - In Flight
- Engine Power - Reduce to minimum acceptable
- ECS EMERG SHUT OFF - Pull
- Oxygen Masks - ON (All occupants)
- Passenger Oxygen Selector - ON
- Confirm that fire exists
- FUEL EMERG SHUT OFF - Press latch down, pull lever up
- Condition Lever - Cut-off/Feather*
- Passenger Oxygen Selector - ON
8. Emergency Descent and/or Emergency Landing
Propeller - Overspeed
Indications: EIS caution and prop digits blinking 40/min
or EIS and Master Warning, prop digits blinking 80/min.
Propeller speed above 1,760 RPM.
- PCL - Reduce Power
- Airspeed - Reduce
Propeller - Low Pitch
Voice callout “Warning, Prop Low Pitch.”
Conditions: Possible excessive propeller speed or height loss. Propeller has gone to a low pitch (below minimum in flight pitch) with Aircraft not on the ground.
- PCL - Ensure forward of idle detent
- *IF not possible to maintain speed and altitude:**

Propeller - Underspeed - In Flight
EIS Caution, propeller digits blink 40/min
Propeller speed below 1,640 RPM
EIS and Master Caution, propeller lights blink 40/min

- PCL - Increase Power
- Aircraft Speed - Increase
Maximum Range Descent After Engine Failure, Single Battery
- PCL - Idle
- Condition Lever - Cut-off/Feather
- Aircraft Configuration - Landing gear up and flaps 0
- Speed - 114 KIAS @ 9921 (less 5kts / 1,000lbs)
- 93 KIAS @ 6,400 (empty) - Autopilot - Engage NAV or HDG and IAS Hold
Maximum Rate Descent
- PCL - Idle
- Landing Gear - Down (Below 177 kias)
- Aircraft Speed - Mmo/Vmo
- Oxygen Masks - Put on before cabin altitude exceeds 10,000 ft
**CAUTION: In turbulence reduce speed to 170 KIAS **
Inadvertent Pusher
- Control Wheel - HOLD against pusher action
- PUSHER INTR Switch - PRESS and HOLD
- PUSHER SYS Circuit Breaker - Pull LB3 LC3
Trim Runaway
- TRIM INTERRUPT Switch - INTR
- CB of Failed Trim - Pull
STAB TRIM & AIL TRIM - LA1 LB1
STAB ALTN & RUD TRIM - RA1 RB1
- TRIM INTERRUPT Switch - NORM
