Pharynx - Stylopharyngeus is a paired muscle that participates in forming the lateral walls of the pharynx. It is one of three longitudinal pharyngeal muscles, the remaining ones being palatopharyngeus and salpingopharyngeus muscles. All three are located internally to the circular pharyngeal constrictor muscles.
