4 structures:
• Septum Transversum
• Pleuroperitoneal Folds
• Dorsal Mesentery or the Esophagus
• Muscular outgrowth of the body wall
Defect:
• Diaphragmatic Hernia - abdominal organs in the thorax
• Compression of the esophagus may cause polyhydramios
