How does the lighting communicate the 2 stimuli and the 2 choreographic intents?
Stimuli…
‘Til enda’ - The music is powerful and there is an electric blue wash, till enda is also the climax and there is a lit white cyc to change the mood.
Freedom of expression - In genesis there are blue pools on the floor, each house a dancer doing different things.
Choreographic intent…
An emotional journey - watery blue at the start to symbolise birth, this builds to a more powerful blue as the dancers progress this symbolises a buildup of energy.
Order and chaos - at times the spotlights are in strict ordered formations (order.)
What is the costume in the dance?
Plain blue t-shirts and trousers for every dancer.

Freedom of expression - Dancers wear their own jewellery which shows their individuality.
Choreographic intent…
Order and chaos – order as shown by the dancers wearing the same costume. Chaos is shown by those wearing their own jewellery.
What is the set design?
It is an empty black box
At the end of section 3, the black backdrop lifts to reveal a white cyclorama.
How does the set communicate the stimuli and choreographic intent?
Stimuli…
Til enda – It is the climax as the black back cloth reveals a cyclorama as it rises.
Choreographic intent…
