They were a branch of puritan.They believed the church was Calvinist in its doctrine but needed reform in its structure and forms of worship.

The Presbyterian attitude wasn’t good for church and that they would split it.

She wanted the religious settlement to be obeyed and practiced. Those’re worked closely with such as Burghley had gone against this which could lead to religious divisions. Making it harder or her religious settlement to be accepted.
What had Peter Turner and Anthony Coper try to bring into place?
Turner 1584 and cope 1587 tried to replace the book of common prayer with their own versions. This had no support and didn’t go through to parliament.
