The arm on the side opposite the working leg

The arm on the same side as the working leg

No. The leg is controlled in the hip socket, the thigh is still and the movement is executed from the knee only
What do you try to think of regarding the pelvic region?
To lift the weight of the body up, off the hips
What is a petit battement sur le cou-de-pied?
A preparatory step for batterie - similar to a battement frappe, but diminished in size and increased in speed
How many ways are there to execute petit battements?
Two: On a flat supporting foot and demi-pointe
Where is the working foot in releve en arriere?
The toes are immediately under the supporting knee, not across
Where is the working foot in releve en avant?
The same position as en arriere
Where is a rotation?
To rotate the leg in the hip socket and turn toward the working leg
