Hyperkalemia
Hypotension, bradycardia, increased DTR, muscle weakness, heart palpitations (causes: dehydration, diabetes, chronic kidney disease)
Hypokalemia
Decreased DTR, muscle cramping/constipation, paralyzed intestines, heart palpitations
Hypernatremia
Edema, Excessive thirst, swollen dry tongue, nausea, vomiting, increased muscle tone (causes: diarrhea, kidney dysfunction, and diuretics)
Hyponatremia
Seizures, coma, tachycardia, weak thready pulses, respiratory arrest
Hyperchloremia
nausea, confusion, swollen dry tongue
Hypochloremia
Excessive diarrhea, vomiting, fever,
Hypermagensium
Bradycardia, hypotension, decreased DTR, lungs shallow
Hypercalcemia/Hypophosphatemia
constipation, bone pain, renal calculi, decreased DTR, muscle weakness
Hypocalcemia/ Hyperphosphatemia
Trousseau’s sign, Chvosteks sign, diahrrea
