What is a ring circuit?
All houses have a ring circuit made of live, neutral, and earth wires.
Where are sockets?
Tapped off at points along the ring circuit.

In parallel.
One socket breaks the rest don’t.
Why is there a fuse on the live wire?
Safety.
What is a fuse?
A device that prevents a circuit from overheating.
It melts when hot breaking the circuit but not the appliance.

Used in a fuse board, stops the flow of current.
