There is a very high current due to low resistance.
What are amps?
The measure of the current. The amount of electricity passing through every second.
What is another name for voltage?
Potential difference
What is static electricity?
A charge that builds up when two objects are rubbed together.
Can positive charges move?
No, only negative charges can.
What is another name for negative charges?
Electrons.
What happens when two things have the same electric charge?
They repel each other.
What happens when two things have opposite charges?
They are attracted to each other.
Positive and negative charges attract.
