Q

What is static charge?

A

The charge that is created in surface of an object due to the imbalance of positive and negative charged. Which is often created when objects are rubbed together (friction).

Q

Formular:

A

1/Rn= 1/R1 + 1/Rn

Then, after adding, flip the fraction then divide to get resistence.

Q

What are the propeties of series circuit?

A
  1. Current stays the same throughout the circuit because there is only one path for the charges to flow.
  2. The total voltage (p.d) provided in the battery is divided across the component.
  3. If one component breaks the whole circuit will not work because there won’t be a complete path for the charges to flow.

Q

Propeties of a parallel circuit?

A
  1. Current is split between the branches.
  2. Voltage provided in the power source is the same for each branch.
  3. If one component breaks, the circuit will still work because the current can flow through the other branches.
  4. Lots of wired required
  5. If more components are added the birghtness of the bulb will not be affected.
