THE FIELD IS EXITED, AND THE OUTPUT INCREASES TO A LEVEL SUFFICIENT FOR THE CIRCUIT CONTROL REGULATOR TO TAKE OVER.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE STARTER- GENERATOR´S OUTPUT REGULATOR?

A

THE OUTPUT REGULATOR ENSURES THE VOLTAGE REMAINS AT 28.25V, AND THE LOADMETERS WILL INDICATE NO OVER-VOLTAGE. THE OUTPUT GENERATOR IS AT LEAST 0.6 VDC HIGHER THAN THE BUS VOLTAGE.
