What does a resistor look like? And what is its function?
-A rectangle
-A resistor limits the flow of current
What does a variable resistor look like? And what is its function?
-A Rectange with an arrow going through it
-A resistor with a slider so the resistance can change
What does a thermistor look like? And what is its function?
-A rectangle with an L going through it at an angle
-A resistor that depends on temperature, as temperature increases, the resistance decreases.
What does an LDR look like? And what is its function?

-A resistor that depends on light intensity, as light intesity increases, resistance decreases.
What does a motor look like? And what is its function?
- A cirlce with a “M” inside
-A device that turns electrical energy into mechanical energy
What does a diode look like? And what is its function?
-A Triangle with its tip on a straight line
-A dioide is used to allow current to flow in one direction only. Used to convert AC to DC
What does an LED look like? And what is its function?
-A diode with 2 arrows pointing at it
-It is equivilant to a diode but emmits light when current passes through it.
