What is the 14th amendment?
The 14th Amendment says that all persons born or naturalized in the United States… are
Citizens of the United States… that no State could deprive any person of life, liberty, or
property, without due process of law… nor deny any person the equal protection of
the laws
What is the 15th amendment?
The 15th amendment says that the right to vote shall not be denied by any state on account of color or race
What is the 19th amendment?
The 19th amendment allowed women to vote.

Eliminated the Poll Tax

It lowered the voting age from 21 to 18
What is the Civil Rights Act of 1965?
Enabled African-Americans to vote by getting rid of things like literacy tests in southern states.

They want increase spending for health care , education, labor unions, and they want environmental protection.
