6. = ?

A

Lateral Elbow Bony Anatomy:

  1. Supracondylar Ridge = Prominent Bony Ridge Along the lateral Humerus
  2. Lateral Epicondyle = Distal-most aspect of Supracondylar Ridge
  3. Capitulum = Deep to the Lateral Epicondyle, Golf Ball Shaped
  4. Radial Head = Distal to the Capitulum, Moves with Pro/Sup
  5. Lateral Collateral and Annular Ligament = Connects the Capitulum and the Radial Head
  6. Olecranon = Posterior tip of the Elbow

A

Lateral Elbow Muscular Anatomy

  1. Brachioradialis = Elbow Flexion / Superior 2/3 of Supracondylar Ridge
  2. Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus = Wrist Ext., Rad. Dev / Distal 1/3 of Supracondylar Ridge
  3. Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis = Wrist Extension / Distal-most Lateral Epicondyle
  4. **Extensor Digitorum Communis ** = Finger Extension “piano” / Posterior to the ECRB
  5. Extensor Carpi Ulnaris = Ulnar Deviation / Posterior to the EDC
