Oral clorphenamine maleate - sedating
Loratidine - non sedating
Pred - for chronic urticaria
Aqueous topical cream or hydrocortisone doesn’t work because it’s deeper in the dermis

Why would you not use topical hydrocortisone or acqueous cream for urticaria?

A

Because urticaria is deeper in the skin so topical treatment can’t reach
