What is the definition of a Bridge?
a type of social tie that connects two different groups in a social network.
Universalistic standards
everyone is judged by the same standards, regardless of family ties, class, race, ethnicity, gender or sexuality.

Children are not judged by standards that can be applied to everyone in society.

a culture’s standard for discerning what is good and just in society.

the social status of a person that is assigned at birth or assumed involuntarily later in life.

the idea of a well-integrated functioning society where all members have been socialised into its shared norms and values.

A system of allocating people to roles which best suit their aptitudes and capabilities.
