focused on the need for pupils from minority ethnic groups to assimilate into British mainstream culture as a way of raising achievement

what are the criticisms of comprehensive schools
one type of school for everyone so streaming is re produced and class inequalities happen under one roof
no choice for parents because its a non selective school
Criticisms of the Tripartite system
- gender bias in subject choice and reproduced class inequalities and an unfair education system because some can't afford tutoring for the 11 plus
