3) smear alginate into the vestibules

1) base 10-20 mm
2) smoothen and clean

making a tray
A
1) outline diagnostic cast
- vibrating line
-including foveo palatini and hamular notches
2) second line in red
- 2 mm above that
- tray outline
3) block out undercuts and rough surfaces with thin layer of baseplate wax
3) lubricate cast with vaseline
4) apply material and cut to red line
- make a handle
- polymerize for 2 min on outside
- remove cast, pol for 2 min on inside
- lower cast needs stiffening rims
