A

Apply as needed

  • Lotion
  • Cream
  • Ointment: most lipid content + hydrating

Treatment: steroids

A

Apply thinly OD/BD
- Hydrocortisone (mild) 10+
- Clobetasone (mod) 12+

Max 15g, max 7 days
Not broken/infected skin, not for face or anogenital areas, not pregnancy

CI: acne, rosacea, skin infections

A

Apply steroids sparingly - cause skin thinning

Apply emollient first, wait 30 mins before steroid
