What is an ecosystem?
The interaction between all living things in a habitat, and the non-living environment they live in
What is a community?
The different species which live in a particular habitat
What is a population?
A group of the same species living in one area

What is an abiotic facator?
Non-living aspects of an ecosystem
What are biotic factors?

Give some examples of abiotic factors
e.g. light intensity, temperature, oxygen availability, strong winds, regular flooding
Give some examples of biotic factors
e.g. predators, prey, competition for food or space
Which piece of equipment do you need to estimate the population of daisies in a field?
quadrat

What is a mutualistic relationship?
Where two different organisms depend on each other and both benefit
