What is an ecosystem
An ecosystem includes all of the living things (plants, animals and organisms) in a given area, interacting with each other, and also with their non-living environments (weather, earth, sun, soil, climate, atmosphere).

Biotic factors are living things
What does abiotic factors mean
Ai biotic factors is a non living environment or condition
What is a producer?
An organism that uses photosynthesis to produce its own food
What is a consumer?
An organism that can’t produce it’s own food therefor it must get its energy from consuming other organisms.
What is a decomposer?
Bacteria or fungi that breaks down dead organisms. It then transforms into rich soil and minerals.
What is a herbivore?
An organism that eats plant material ONLY
What is an omnivore?
An organism that eats both plant and meat material
What is a Carnivore?
An organism that only eats meat material
What is a food chain?
A food chain shows who eats who in a particular habitat
What is another name for a food chain
It can sometimes be called a feeding relationship
