Features of the body: shape, colour, etc

How an organism behaves
What is a functional adaption?
Processes inside the body
What is an extremophile?
Some organisms live in environments that are very extreme, such as high temp, pressure or salt conc.
E.g bacteria living in deep sea vents are adapted to survive and reproduce at high temp
What is interdependence?
Organisms rely on each other
What is a stable community?
All the species and environmental factors are in balance so that population sizes remain fairly constant
