Wyre Forest Centre is a hub for sharing knowledge about sustainable management of woodland
The WFLP provides apprenticeships in forest industries so people can learn trades linked to the sustainable use of the ecosystem
Recreation Management
Visitor centre at Callow Hill, with displays to explain what the forest has to offer
Forestry Commission provides walking trails, cycle paths and a play area for children
GoApe (a private investor) has also developed zip wires and a walkway to widen the range of leisure facilities.
Wildlife Management
Monitoring Cattle grazing to make sure it doesn’t damage woodland
Woodland will be managed to provide a variety of habitats to maximise range of environments for species - high biodiversity
Non - native trees like Sitka Spruce removed and replanted with native ones to improve biodiverty
