- these areas are covered with various grasses in a continous turf with a few trees
- many wetter areas are now used as cereal growing areas e.g. prairnes(USA), Steppes(Asia)

A tropical rainforests has hot,humid,growing conditions with many different species per unit area-it has two tree layers and an undergrowth layer.

tropical grassland is found in the north and south of tropical rainforest. these areas have wet and dry seasons.
what are deserts?
deserts do not have rainfalls for some vegetation
deserts are located in Asia,Africa,S.W,USA,Austriala.
