Abiotic factors
the nonliving parts of an ecosystem

any area in which organisms live
Biodiversity
the variety of life in the world or in a particular habitat or ecosystem

all of the living or once-living things in an ecosystem
Carnivores
organisms that eat herbivores and other consumers
Consumers
are organisms that cannot make their food. Consumer obtain food by eating producers and other consumers
Decomposers
Organisms that break down wastes and dead organisms and return the raw materials to the environment

organisms that eat only plants and other producers.
Omnivores
organisms that eat producers and consumers.
Producers
organisms that use an outside energy source, such as the Sun,and produce their own food

a carnivore that feeds on dead bodies of dead organisms
