Abiotic factors:
the nonliving parts of an ecosystem
Biosphere:
any area in which organisms live
Biodiversity:
the variety of life in the world or in a particular habitat or ecosystem.
Biotic Factors:
all of the living or once-living things in an ecosystem
Carnivores
eat herbivores and other consumers.
Consumers are
organisms that cannot make their food. Consumer obtain food by eating producers and other consumers
Decomposers:
Organisms that break down wastes and dead organisms and return the raw materials to the environment
Ecology:
the study of how living organisms interact with each other and with their environment
ECOSYSTEM:
is all the living and nonliving things in one place
Herbivores
eat only plants and other producers.
Omnivores
eat producers and consumers.
Producers are
organisms that use the Sun,and produce their own food
A Scavenger
is a carnivore that feeds on dead bodies of dead organisms
