A
A measure of the variety of different species living in a habitat.

How do you use quadrats to measure a biodiversity?
A
Place quadrats randomly within the sampling area.
Count the number of members of an organism within the quadrat.
Repeat this numerous times using the same size of the quadrat.
Do it in another area to compare the results.

A
Number of organims found/total area covered by quadrats x total area of the field
