ECG Flashcards
ECG Normal Values
Rate: 60-100
PR interval 0.12 to 0.20 s (3 - 5 small squares)
QRS complex: < 0.12 s duration (3 small squares)
QTc range from: 350 to 440 ms for adult men and from 360 to 460 ms for adult women;
AV Block: 2nd degree, Mobitz I (Wenckebach Phenomenon) Criteria
Progressive prolongation of the PR interval culminating in a non-conducted P wave
AV Block: 2nd degree, Mobitz II (Hay block) criteria
Intermittent non-conducted P waves without progressive prolongation of the PR interval
AV Block: 1st degree criteria
PR interval > 200ms (five small squares)
AV Block: 3rd degree criteria
Severe bradycardia due to absence of AV conduction
The ECG demonstrates complete AV dissociation, with independent atrial and ventricular rates
Signs of right sided involvement in inferior STEMI
Suggestive features include:
ST elevation in V1, the only lead that looks directly at the RV
ST elevation in III > II, as lead III is more rightward facing
V4R Elevation
