  2. A charge enters the transverse tubule
  3. The charge passes through the transverse tubule (t-tubule) to the sarcoplasmic reticulum (S.R)
  4. Ca2+ from the S.R. is released to into cytoplasm
  5. Ca2+ binds with troponin, allowing actin filaments to bind with myosin filaments
