• Channel 15 in zones Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Echo, Foxtrot are direct channels
• ENBRCS tg’s and direct channels cannot be scanned at the same time. Channel 15 must be monitored independently
• channel 15 shall be monitored by IC and safety officer at all times during incident
• Firefighters shall establish contact with IC on channel 15 if a communications failure or out of range condition occurs.

How do you use the emergency button?

• The emergency button capability provides firefighters with an additional means to declare a FF emergency.
• Primary method to declare a FF emergency is to contact the IC on the radio by the assigned tac channel.
• Press and hold the emergency for 3 seconds to activate.
