Feeding and Eating Disorders
Psychological disorders involving disturbed eating patterns and maladaptive ways of controlling weight
Anorexia Nervosa
Eating disorder, primarily affecting young women, characterized by maintenance of an abnormally low body weight, distortions of body image and intense fears of gaining weight
Bulimia nervosa
Eating disorder characterized by recurrent pattern of binge eating followed by inappropriate compensory behaviour to prevent weight gain
Binge eating disorder
Eating disorder characterized by repeated episodes in which binge eating occurs but is not followed by purging
