water imagery- realtionship is drowning her physically and mentally. physically bc she feels trapped and suffocated in the relationship, lost all autonomy over her life and body. her size restricts her from performing daily tasks so she is forced to have an unhealthy dependence on her partner+ mentally bc there isn’t any love she has been manipulated psychologically and emotionally

repetition of too fat shows restrictions her weight causes on her life-> another way partner is able to assert control and ensure she can never leave.
‘full fat milk’- has been programmed to now to eat unhealthy thing-> normal for her, he has successfully dominated her mind ad]nd body

ironic- the body he created ended up causing his death
false sense of justice- although it seems as tho she has been able to escape and is frre not truly free
he still controls her in death-> she is still ‘too fat’ to perform daily tasks so still doesn’t have autonomy over her body
also has reduced her further to cannibalism- she can’t leave to buy food so she will have to eat him eventually out of desperation to survive
