Describe the coastal areas of East and Southern Africa:
The coastal areas of East and Southern Africa are lined with steep stone cliffs that rise up like walls. Ocean currents cool the air along the shore, and the only areas of East and Southern Africa that have broad coastal plains are Mozambique and Somalia. The other areas have a narrow coastal strip lined with escarpments.
